"The entrance through the courtyard was so beautiful, there was a little pond area with about 14 tortoises. The owner was kind enough to give us an early check in with upgrade since our room wasnt ready. The room we got was beautiful and fairly spacious with a back door leading straight to the beach. "Everything about this resort was great! From the people to the food and the drinks I couldn’t ask for better service. The only thing I have to say was the bed in the room felt really damp, I’m guessing because of the humidity and it had a smell to it that I couldn’t really describe but it wasn’t all that bad. "We had a wonderful stay during our 6 day trip to Sint Maarten. Several times during our trip we commented to each other how much we were hoping we could make a return trip. "The front desk has some shining stars. Others are pretty dull. Did not know that our booking “did not come with cleaning” despite being a week long. Cleaning staff was sub par. All of the bar staff was amazing. They kept the vibes going, and were super helpful. Cabana restaurant was a hit or miss but they had a few gems there as well. "On first impression it was beautiful to walk into and everything set in place. Staff were accommodating except I felt certain things were misunderstood. Upon arrival we had booked for 3 yet room was set up for two and requesting for additional toiletries for our 3rd guest was a back and forth challenge because first line of communication was AI on WhatsApp which we were not aware of.
