This hotel does not sit in front of the water but is walkable from the "boardwalk". Canary Wharf is away from the hustle and bustle of the city so it's much quieter overall. "The location is perfect with lovely views of Blackheath Common. It is only a short walk to the train station with frequent trains into the centre of London. All the staff are so friendly, welcoming & helpful, especially the restaurant staff and all the receptionists the day staff & evening staff."

"We stayed in two rooms over the course of our stay and they were both nice, although we preferred the accessible room because of the bigger washroom. The one downside is there was no mini fridge to keep water or other drinks/food cold. Prime location, quiet and close to the transit line."
