"We had an amazing stay at the Catalonia Royal Tulum. The resort itself is paradise. It is hard to imagine a more stunning location. From the lobby you immediately recognize the serene location. Staff were friendly and helpful right away. We were met with welcome drinks and cold towels. Walking through the rainforest to our rooms and the beach is wonderful. It never gets old to traverse this gorgeous location. The white sand beach is magical. We loved all of the facilities. The pool is excellent, especially with the swim up bar. There are some great food options, too. We particularly loved Mamma Mia and Steakville for dinners. The service at those locations is incredible, and the food is exceptional. Each restaurant offers a fine dining experience with 3 or 4 course meals. Carmen at Mamma Mia was a great server and made our dinner experiences so pleasurable as well. The La Palapa buffet exceeded our expectations. We loved the fresh tacos at lunch. There are so many food options, and a great mix of local options and familiar, homey options too. Quesabelle was such a wonderful hostess who consistently made us feel welcomed and happy every time we stepped in for a meal. The staff and facilities are amazing, and the natural beauty of the resort will take your breath away. We loved our experience at this resort in Tulum and we highly recommend you go visit as well if you are looking for a luxurious, classy, relaxing, beautiful vacation. "

"OUTSTANDING!! I do not have anything negative to say about Secrets Akumal. The staff was AMAZING! I have never felt so pampered. Every bit of the resort was clean & beautiful. I felt that every single employee went out of their way to make our stay perfect. My daughter and son-in-law got married during our stay. It was perfect! Everything they had both dreamed & hoped for. "Room was always cleaned beautifully. Great restaurants, but make sure to make reservations ahead of time as they fill quickly. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The pools were very large and perfect temperature. They also have a nightclub included between resorts."
