"The staff are very polite and made me feel welcomed. It's got very cozy decor and feels homey, on top of that everything was extremely clean. The property itself is very beautiful with plenty of space on the lawn to relax. The breakfast they served was really good. There are a lot of places to go see nearby, two noteworthy ones being Harry S Truman's home and The Vaile Mansion. Will very likely stay again if/when I visit Independence again."

"This was an amazing place to stay. Rebecca and Karl were amazing hosts. The property is so beautiful and peaceful. They have activities like hiking, fishing, pool table, a paddleboat even movies for you to choose from and watch. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, made from scratch and served so nicely. "My complaints were minimal and no doubt due to the fact that I am a senior traveler. My stay was also very short, just overnight to sleep and out the door the next morning at 5am. I was able to tap into their WiFi and that was good. Hope to spend more time with other guests on my next visit."
