I have stayed here 3x now and love this property. New, reasonably priced 5 star hotel with nice, clean rooms and great, helpful staff in all areas of the hotel.
handy location for airport, could book a taxi at hotel, nice small pool - restaurant pricey and small portions
The hotel at a very good location. From international airport via Air link only around 30min & the cost 35bath person. If u don't like night life, this is the place for u. One thing I don't like is the WiFi really poor.
Good rates, located next to mrt station, basic amenities, convenience
The fixed shower head is not user friendly. Handheld would be good and without bathtub.
We made reservations at the copper for a romantic dinner. And they didn’t tell us there was some ameteur singing night happening. They sat us next to the speaker and it was so loud we couldn’t hear eachother talk.
I had stayed in many luxurious hotels before, the Swiss standard is by far excellent in many ways, besides a few problems with certain staff, I would highly recommend to stay at this hotel. The room service staff especially exceeded all my expectations.
Everything was great. I was impressed with their safety measures. Clean and relaxing. We had the room on 4th floor was more than we expected
Not bad. Good
The Ratchadaphisek – Rama 9 neighbourhood is one of Bangkok’s most exciting entertainment districts. It sits just a few kilometres from the thrilling Sukhumvit area, and can be reached via taxi or underground train in no time. As a result, this neighbourhood is now home to many modern condominiums, excellent shopping facilities, night time entertainment and dining venues galore.
Ratchadaphisek – Rama 9 has enough landmarks and attractions to entertain tourists for several days.
There are many different attractions that will keep children smiling. Central Plaza Rama 9 is the largest and newest shopping mall, offering an excellent range of kids facilities, including an ice-rink and enormous play zone. Esplanade is also a great place for children, with an ice-skating rink available too.
Ratchadaphisek – Rama 9 is only a few minutes from several famous cultural performances. Tourists can head to the Golden Dome Cabaret, and witness a ladyboy show like no other. Also, Siam Niramit is found behind the Thai Cultural Centre. This extravaganza has become one of Asia’s best historical dance shows.
This part of Bangkok has become associated with adult-related establishments too. Along Ratchadaphisek Road, there are numerous massage parlours to choose from. These aren’t your traditional Thai massage venues. These spots offer sensual massages, including the iconic ‘soapy massage’. There’s a reason these large parlours have no windows.
Restaurants and Bars
Dining can be found inside the area’s shopping malls, such as Esplanade, Central Plaza and Fortune Town. Both Western and local restaurants operate within these shopping centres. For a more authentic Thai experience, tourists shouldn’t miss Ratchada Soi 3. Here, there is a variety of local menus worth sampling, including the very popular khao man kai, or chicken with rice. When it comes to the nightlife in this neighbourhood, Royal City Avenue is the place to go. The crowds are mostly young and Thai, but international visitors are always welcome.
Ratchadaphisek – Rama 9 boasts many shopping options. If tourists want to purchase cheap computer, camera or other electronic devices and accessories, Fortune Town is the best place to look. Directly across the road is Central Rama 9. This massive shopping complex is anchored by Robinsons, and includes dozens of internationally-renowned brand names.
