"There’s “unique,” and then there’s Gold-Diggers, a five star boutique hotel above a sound studio and small venue night club. Music is the theme! Vinyl turntable in room. vinyl house gift too, along with drink tokens and access to whatever show is happening downstairs. "The rooms were comfortable and very clean! The staff very polite and helpful. The area was safe enough, we used lyft for our transportation but we didn’t see any homeless around the hotel. Very good location in the middle of all the hotspots. Definitely I recommend staying there and we will go again! "

"It's a great motel to stay near Universal Studios and the Griffith Observatory. Walking distance from the Walk of Fame. Rooms are good, and if you have a car, you have free parking inside (very important in LA) and you're 20-40 min away from any other place you'd like to visit."

"This hotel is such a gem! We attended the grand opening of Blue Note LA and found this hotel right across the street. Rooms on the smaller side, but so cute and cozy. Bed was so comfortable! And staff were generous and friendly. "

"My husband most accurately described it as "a kids all-inclusive hotel." We love, love, loved the free snacks, all you can eat soft serve and the popsicle hotline. As a family of 5, we were really grateful for the spacious apartment style setup. It was super convenient and easy for our trip to Universal Studios. More than anything, the staff was SO WONDERFUL. Truly above and beyond, top-notch customer service."

"I stayed for almost a week and had no problems. The room was clean. The staff was kind. It was close to multiple public transport stops so it was easy to go back and forth from my room to the places I wanted to go see or eat at. It was wonderful and I’d stay here again! The walls aren’t too great and I could hear my neighbors moving things around in their rooms at times but I didn’t mind. I had a wonder time. "
