"I will start with the positives, the property is close to the strip and there is a shuttle stop right outside, which makes it easier to get to the strip and any other stops within Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge area. Now the negatives, the manager on duty (who is usually there in the morning), is very rude and not helpful at all. Being in hospitality, she does not have a basic courtesy to take to someone who is a retiree and an aged person. Don’t try to even ask them for a different room, because...

"Lovely stay in a beautiful area with a beautiful city view. Staff was very kind, specifically the bartender with red hair, I didn't catch her name, but she was fantastic. I only give 4 stars because the room itself was clearly not maintained well. The coffee pot when we arrived did not work (which they did offer to fix), the door on the dresser covering the fridge was loose so when you would open it to access the fridge, it would drop down a bit and you’d have to lift it to to close it back....

"The staff were friendly and it was pretty clean. They had a pretty small fridge in the room that could keep very few things. The bathroom was very tiny. The room was fairly clean. Kept finding long black hairs everywhere. It was really hot in the room even when the air was turned to the lowest setting. "We booked a suite for our trip. 4 kids 2 adults. The room was great and accommodating. The kids wore themselves out cooling down in the pool for a night swim. The location was great. Not too far from anything. We enjoyed sitting out in the patio listening to the river. The staff were very accommodating and friendly when we needed something. We did see 1 bear in the parking lot but he left shortly after and we just watching him prowl around from the safety of the top floor."
