It is a nice hotel with good staffs. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Shuttle bus to the airport is very convenient.
The Hotel is very close to Pudong Airport and has a free shuttle bus to and from the airport on the hour. Value for money as a stop-over hotel.
Not the nearest, but still near the airport. Shampoo dispenser on wall was very hard to use but still can be used. To go from airport to hotel using their free shuttle, you have to call first, preferably before you arrive, even better, before your journey starts. Otherwise, pickup can be a hassle. ...
For budget stay this hotel checked all the right boxes. Clean room. No frill bath. Decent breakfast. Airport pick n drop. For long overlays this is a decent option
Hope they have interpreter for English speaking people
This hotel is a newly decorated, clean hotel, near the airport with nice breakfast included. Great for a stopover. We had a good sleep, took the free shuttle back to the airport, stowed our baggage and went into downtown on the train for a few hours before flying out in the evening. Perfect!
Pudong Airport (PVG) is the international gateway to Shanghai and the surrounding region on the East China Sea coast. Pudong is served by airlines flying from cities as far apart as Chicago, London, Singapore and Auckland. Pudong’s two terminal buildings are modern and house all the facilities travellers nowadays expect as standard..Don’t Miss
Pudong PVG and the Bund in central Shanghai are about 40kms apart. A big draw for visitors since 2004 is the chance of riding the 400kmh Shanghai Maglev Train to Longyang Road. Pudong International is beside the East China Sea and is within easy range of Dishui Lake and Sanjiagang Beach Park.
Dishui is noted for fishing, boating and a long pier across the water. Sanjiagang is Shanghai’s only beach destination and has a great collection of seafood restaurants and amusements. On summer days, the sea is warm and clear enough to swim in.
The course at the Shanghai Links Country Club was designed by Jack Nicklaus. It is right beside the coast to the north of the airport and is the flagship of the local golf courses. Shanghai Wild Animal Park is the nearest of the city’s abundant tourism attractions to the airport and houses a family of pandas plus 200 species from all over the world.Restaurants and Bars
Dining and nightlife are limited near Pudong International Airport (PVG), although there are a few seafood restaurants serving fish, crab and squid in locations like Baiyulan and Sanjiagang. Accommodation options such as the Ramada feature restaurants with international favourites on their menus. Hotel lounge bars are also the best choices for a drink in the evening. This is not really an issue as Shanghai Metro Line 2 and Maglev offer convenience when travelling to central Shanghai.Shopping
Similarly, shopping opportunities are not great in the area of Pudong District around the airport. Apart from a few shops in the local vicinity, shopping for travellers using Pudong International Airport (PVG) is in the facility’s terminals or in downtown locations such as Nanjing Road. In the airport’s terminals, shops selling gifts, designer clothes and accessories, electrical items and duty-free products are in the departures zones.
