"Easy access to Varenna but it needs an information book telling you basic things about the apartment."

"The property has amazing views. There were 4 of us (adults), we found the bedrooms ok, but the bathroom had a problem, I think due to thin pipes in the building, the shower was leaking - so the floor around the shower cabin would have water. The lights did not work, and the hair dryer was broken, luckily one of us had one with her. The area is lovely, the flat is in the same building as the restaurant Al Prato, highly-rated one. We had a lovely time overall. "

"PROS: Clean rooms, full kitchen and living room, 3 balconies, beautiful view from the windows and balconies, washing machine, laundry detergent, close to the train station CONS: hear the road and the train tracks, cool (no hot or even warm) water in the shower, light turns off when a bunch of appliances are plugged in, no channels in English, very narrow walking path along the road, walk up the hill, "

"Very nice property, with a kitchen, living room, patio, separate bedroom, bathroom, & washing machine. Beautiful view from patio of the lake. Separate spacious outdoor space where you can sit in shade. Only complaint was how hot it could get. I was provided w/ 2 fans which helped. Also, with open windows and front door a nice breeze comes through. Overall, nice property, very close to ferry and train station."

"The best view of the lake and surrounding mountains, and very peaceful and quiet. You need a car to go anywhere, no shops or restaurants near by. The property was as advertised. "
