"Ich habe die Nacht in diesem Hotel sehr gut geschlafen. Das Bett war super bequem - nicht zu hart, nicht zu weich - und die Bettdecke ebenso klasse. Das Hotel wird nach und nach die Zimmer renovieren... meines kommt wohl auch bald dran. Gut - es war noch veraltet, aber auf jeden Fall wirklich sauber. Hier hätte ich es auch noch ein paar Nächte aushalten können."

"Hotel was ideally placed for the station and everywhere we wanted to be. Comfortable and friendly, tho a little quirky in its layout with sets of stairs here and there. Was disappointed to see the hotel bar had closed but didnt affect our stay."

"The hotel is easy to find, and ideally located for visiting Beamish Museum. It is very attractive, and the bar and restaurant areas have great views westwards over the valley. Each ground floor room has its own car parking slot - wonderful! The staff are friendly and helpful, and a small bonus for me, the malt whisky is cheaper than the pub down the road .... I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area, there was nothing I did not like."
