"Day 1: Can't even enter the building til 4 PM checkin time. Access code does not work. Got to my room it was absolutely filthy - piles of dirty dishes, dirty sheets in a pile on the bed. Found a housekeeper, who just kept repeating "room not ready". There was another customer there in tge same situation. Finally a managerial type shows up, and we get moved to different (clean) rooms. "Where to begin. The host did not tell you how to lock the apt door upon leaving. When you called the number given, the person answering (NY based) did not know how. Upon trying a second time, the woman answering thankfully did know. The apt. smelled strongly of Mr. Clean and the smell never dissipated. The apt hallway smelled strongly of some type of ethnic cooking the entire time we were there. On the positive side, it was very quiet and the beds were comfortable. The truly negative thing that...
