"The staff were all so friendly. The hotel was in a safe and great location. The room was clean and it was fun to sleep in a bunk bed that had such a comfortable mattress. "

"We loved our stay at Public, the hotel is beautiful and the staff went out of their way to help us. It’s in a great location, we were able to walk most of the trip. I do wish they had better parking options at the hotel. "

"Very overpriced Westin that is more like a lower-end Marriott. We paid extra for the sofa bed, only to be told that we need to make our own bed (they just dumped a set of bed sheets in front of us). We were misled when we weren't given the daily beverage and food credit, even though the check-in counter staff told us we'd receive it as long as we bought food/drinks from their restaurant. Very disappointing given that I've been a member of Marriott for a very long time. "

"A rather basic, no-frills hotel but very convenient to everything including multiple subway lines in all directions, and surrounded by lots of restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. I would stay here again, as I’m usually highly on the go when I’m in nyc. "

"I didn’t have the breakfast but I did dine for supper it food was delicious."
