"This property was beautiful on the outside with a great pool scene. It is also conveniently located just steps away from Playa Mamita Beach and 5th Avenue. HOWEVER, internally, the room was quite run down and dirty. Many electrical outlets didn't work. The entire hotel's water was shut of during the middle of the night secondary to reportedly repeated water pump failures explained to me by the manager of the property. "The property is amazingly beautiful, clean and HUGE! Be ready to walk. The walk is beautiful every where you go so you don’t feel like you are getting in 5 miles a day but I did! The food is good comparable to other places I have stayed in Mexico. The inclusion of ALL parks is the draw and you will want to do them all. I suggest you prioritize according to your group as the Xenotes is a little more demanding especially if you are traveling with smaller children or Grandparents. Xel-Há is for everyone and you can do as much or as little as you want there. The food there was excellent and easy to get in and out. Be sure to take advantage of the Xelfies on all of the properties. I wish I had done more as the package you can purchase at the end of your stay is very reasonable. We had an amazing vacation there and I would go back."

"I traveled with family and friends, and we really enjoyed our stay at Paradisus. The resort was excellent, with great customer service, a variety of food options and restaurants, and plenty of activities for kids. The only issue we experienced was the strong seaweed odor, which I understand is seasonal and beyond the resort's control. The staff worked hard to clean the beach every day, but unfortunately the beach remained closed and unusable during our stay. We also noticed coatis roaming around the property looking for food. They were not aggressive and did not bother anyone, but it was something I wasn't expecting. Overall, both of these concerns were related to nature and not the resort itself. We had a wonderful vacation and would recommend this resort to others."
