"This was the most beautiful hotel in our entire trip. Located in a wonderful historic building so close to the Duomo. Everything about this place was amazing especially for the price! "Spectacular small hotel right in the heart of Florence. This place is unbelievably close to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore...as in, it is almost adjacent to it. Our room was exceptional and the staff was attentive. We only wished that we could have stayed longer. One note...we brought a rental car to this hotel, and reaching it through the streets of Florence was fairly challenging. "We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the place very much. We stayed in room 405 and it was Very large, in clouding a balcony that wrapped around the entire side and to the front of the property where there was a view of Florence. Two small. Things- this property is at least 20 minute walk to most attractions in Florence so just know that but, because of that we discovered a wonderful restaurant- Trattoria Cesarino- ate there twice- get the small steak Florentine. Second: DO NOT get the jacuzzi experience!! It was a complete waste of money. The jacuzzi is on the rooftop facing Florence- sounds wonderful, right? But, no. The jacuzzi is oriented away from this so that the cover to the jacuzzi completely blocks any view except of the jacuzzi cover. Great idea, poorly executed. The last photo shows what I’m talking about. "

"Location, location, location! Combined with excellent customer service, welcome Prosecco and a beautiful room with exposed brick looking out onto the Florence streets, I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We stayed with our son and he had a comfortable cot in our room, making it a wonderful choice for our family of 3. It is walkable to major sites - make sure to walk to the Il Mercado Centrale for browsing and eating."

"We were here for only one night due to a train transfer to Rome airport but this was an excellent choice. There is an underground tunnel immediately outside the front door that leads to the train station. Breakfast opened at 7am which was perfect considering most other hotels we stayed at started later. This allowed us to grab a quick bite prior to departure. The area outside can be quite congested due to the train station but it is less than a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and 20-25 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. At breakfast ( located at the 5th level), the spread was abundant and we were blown away by the views including the Duomo. There is an outstanding rooftop as well. The room was large by European standards with a very high ceiling and wood coffered. They had complimentary cold drinks and juices in the fridge. All in all, we had stayed here 20 years ago and were very impressed with the updates and the makeover. The staff were all very accommodating and pleasant. Would easily stay here again. "

"This magnificent, luxurious hotel is located at the centre of everything. Just a short walk to the Duomo, to various markets, to wonderful little restaurants and so many shops. We truly loved our stay at Bernini Palace. The service was exceptional. The staff at the front desk were always ready to assist with directions, recommendations and reservations. Truly a pleasure. The daily breakfast buffet was just excellent. So much variety and beautifully presented. The rooms were just stunning. The decor and service levels added to the enjoyment of our stay in Florence. Thank you to all the staff at Bernini Palace for making our visit to Florence even more memorable."
