"FANTASTIC - there are no words - located on the other side of the river - away from the hustle of downtown Florence and walking distance (10 min) from Ponte Vechio and Santa Croce. "This is a very cool hotel and we enjoyed our time in Florence. The only thing is there was no air conditioning. It worked for a few hours but then only blew hot air. We did not try to reach customer service about the issue but I’m sure they would have helped if we did. I read there were A/C regulations that did not allow for it to be turned on until April 15th, so I didn’t bother to ask about it. "The apartment was larger than I expected. It was nice to have the area at the end to have a glass of wine looking over the rooftops. It was all clean and tidy. The steps were a bit of a killer, especially with the suitcase, but we only had to do that once. It gave us nice views though. The location was great. Close to just about everything but, because you were four floors up, it seemed quiet."
