"We had a wonderful stay. Graeme was a fabulous host! He was so personable, helpful, and friendly! We appreciated all of his suggestions and his attention to detail. "
"Onsite parking was extremely limited. Busy road. Convenient for taking the bus. Bed was comfortable. Room needs some TLC (paint, dusting/mold in bathroom). Difficult checking in if you can’t phone to be let in (out of country phone didn’t have calling in UK). "
"Loved staying at this great guest house. Very convenient for Edinburgh city centre as bus stop for the city centre is right outside the door. Craig is a great host with lots of helpful information. Would definitely stay here again. "
"The staff were all very kind and the food & cocktails in the restaurant were incredible! I was in a junior suite and it was a lovely experience to treat myself to. "

"The whole place felt safe, and clean - I saw them cleaning like twice a day when I was there.
As an added bonus they do a great job facilitating and providing opportunities for solo-travelers to meet up with others"
"The property is 18th century and rooms are huge and decor is in tune with building. So close to bus route to city. Bus approx every 15 mins to centre. Buses back all through the nught but less frequent. David was perfect host, explaining how to get to bus stop, given main door key for easy access whatever time you get back. We went to tattoo so were back late. Great sleep, lovely huge bed firm mattress. Coffee and tea in room. Breakfast was excellent, full scottish breakfasr and cereals yogurts, fruit juice, toast and lovely coffee. Highly recommend this place. Not big hotel, nice guest house, perfect. Ticked all the boxes. Thank you David. Caroline and paul. We stayed om 8 august 25"
"We really enjoyed the beer garden in the afternoon. The wait staff at the bar, dinner and breakfast were very good. The room was a little small but very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice too. We’d definitely recommend this hotel."
