We had a lot of trouble with instructions such as we received a map for parking and the map had nothing to do with where parking actually would be. "Staff were so friendly and helpful. Castle grounds were nice. Castle itself was nice as well. There is currently scaffolding covering one side. There was a wedding there so we couldn't go into the library cuz it was reserved for them. "

"The hotel itself is located on a street where there is not much going on aside from part of a medical school (I think) but it is a short walk to get to a fairly main street with shops and restaurants on it. It was quiet and well maintained with a very friendly and accommodating staff...especially at the front desk. The room was comfortable. They should consider upgrading the "coolers" inside of the rooms to actual mini fridges so that folks can keep beverages and/or medications cold if...

"Run like a hotel but with the feel of an apartment rental. This was the perfect stay. There was a ton of space, a laundry machine inside the apartment and the location was perfect! "

"I had a great stay at Grangeview, the room was exceptional and felt like it had recently been decorated. It was a great size and felt stylish and cosy. I was pleasantly surprised to find a dressing gown and slippers in the room which was a lovely extra touch on top of all the usual things. The guest house is in a more residential area which felt very relaxing but was only a short walk away from the royal mile. It’s also a great base for exploring Holyrood park. I’ll most definitely stay again...
