"A beautiful restored shophouse. Very welcoming staff and very clean common areas. The rooms can get a bit warm in the afternoon as part of the roof is covered in zinc and conducts heat directly into the room. Bed is located in the attic which can be a slight inconvenience but it adds to the overall charm of the place. Toilets are small and poky but still good enough for me. For the price, I would still recommend this place for those seeking something out of the ordinary. "

"I can only give 4 stars because there is no smoke alarm and I was travelling alone so would not wake up and I had to ask for refill of clean towels, water , shower gel on 3rd day . I was hoping my room would get cleaned but didnt. No window in my room. Other then that it's a nice stay for a good price with your own bathroom and nice roof terrace. Some guests came in late screaming around hallway when I'm trying to sleep and bar pumping but no big deal. The owner said he will install smoke alarms...

We had trouble finding the place cause it is on the second floor, but I thought ground floor was the first floor. So it's the third level. 2nd floor. "Was deffo a budget place- basic box room with two beds, was comfy enough for a short stay. Air con worked well. Bathroom small but effective. Overall a perfect place to be used just for sleeping rather than if you're looking for somewhere luxury. Staff were absolutely lovely and friendly, as well as very accomodating and helpful."
