Recomiendo hospedarse en este hotel. El lugar estuvo limpio y el personal siempre fue amable. Está situado en una zona céntrica, transitada, con bastantes restaurantes y bares en el área y acceso a transporte cerca (metro y camión). Me volvería a hospedar aquí

Was there for 4 days room was never cleaned. Had to ask for toilet roll twice as they didn’t give us any. The shower had mould all over the tiles and the drain stunk of a sewer. Door was paper thin with no insulation so very very noisy. Beds were comfortable enough. Staff were very unpleasant and unhelpful. Anything we asked for they were very reluctant to help. More interested in watching YouTube on the computer. Overall not a great experience and would not be back.

The property has a very very small elevator. One person at a time with 1 piece of luggage. There is no access for a wheelchair user. I use a cane, the very first day entering the property I took a hard fall. The woman at the front desk help me , with the assistance of a passer by to get up. The step and floor were wet, due to the rain. There were no carpets nor railings. If you need physical assistance, I would suggest going elsewhere The breakfast was 7 euro a nd not worth it. There a cute cafe’s right out of the hotel.

Quick trip to Paris
We had a room with a cute little balcony on the 6th floor. They have a very tiny elevator that goes to the 5th floor. Only one person and maybe a suitcase. It depends on the size of the suitcase. The beds were comfortable. The shower has that crazy half glass wall that makes it hard to not get water on the floor. The key for the room was an actual key. If you want you can leave it when you go out. There are buses close by so we were able to get around the city easily. The hotel was clean and we were very satisfied with our stay. We would stay here again.

Small hotel located in a very busy area of Paris. The room and bathroom were small. The mattress was firm and the pillows too big. There were no sheets, weird. There was also no fridge, or any way to make coffee or tea in the morning. Under the beds was really dusty and a fan was the only source of comfort during the hot nights. The elevator is tiny, and it can fit only one or two people maximum. The staff was ok, except for a rude ponytailed man who we catched sleeping early in the morning on the reception area sofa and who refused to provide us with an extra towel. If you are leaving for the airport early, do not reserve a taxi ahead of time, it will cost you more. Ask the front desk to call one for you 10 minutes ahead of time.

Great choice in a good location with many bars/ restaurants - also a good choice, if you want to find something near the train station. The room was renovated with a view to the road side , I would go back

Great location for a reasonable price
For the location and price this hotel was great. Rooms were small but clean and comfortable. Bakery, restaurant, and shops with walking distance. It was a 30min walk to the Louvre or a 2min walk to a Metro/RER station.

Good location and value for money but noisy
Our stay was fine but it's quite a basic hotel but rooms and toilet are clean. The location was good but being on the main road it's very noisy at night. You can hear traffic and people talking and shouting even late into the late and early morning. Even with the double glazing windows closed (although it helps a bit).

Hotel to stay near Paris with very friendly locals
To travel to the centre of Paris to take Le Cab or Bus, Metro and go shopping, visit the cinema, museums, theatres, cafes and restaurants. Paris has a variety of different places that you can visit by boat, enjoying a cruise so visit websites or there are plenty of brochures at the hotel on arrival/departure and internet availability for further details speak to the staff as they had no problems understanding my English at all. Locally, there are shops to visit and plenty of shopping, grocery stores if you forget anything that you may require from food to makeup and entertainment. Cafes, Bars, Brand Shops, Monuments, Restaurants, and Banks some are walking distance although if in doubt travel via the above mentioned. A great place to go out and about so get up in the morning and leave to take a look a beautiful Paris. * If in doubt ask hotel staff if you need anything and i'm sure they will be glad to help. By the way I was staying local to my cousin so I did not want to travel far from her!

Good location, good stuff, however bed bugs
The hotel is at good location and the stuff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel looks like its recently renovated, bathroom is nice and clean. Plenty hot water. However we had bed bugs the first night of our stay, I was bitten all over the back of my shoulder. The stuff was helpful and switched the room for us and the next night we did not experience bed bugs. I really hope they fix this problem, otherwise its a good hotel. The breakfast is not worth the money, get some croissants in the supermarket, there is a carrefour express on the same street.

A hotel on a quite street near Pigalle
The hotel is situated in a nice area with supermarkets, cafes, self service laundry, groceries stores, boulangeries and 2 metro stations a short distance away. Galeries Lafayette is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The reception is helpful and speak good English. The Wifi is strong even in the room. We took the room for 4 persons which comes with a balcony facing the main room. The room is tight for 4 persons but comfortable to sleep. Unfortunately, the room has bedbugs and we ended-up with skin rashes. The hotel is currently under renovation so everything is fresh and new.

A Great Hotel Ruins By Bedbugs
If not for the bedbugs, i would have rated this hotel better. I and my family ended up with allergic reaction and rashes all over our bodies. We love the surrounding areas with it cafe, boulangeries, eateries, supermarkets, convenience stores, self-service laundrate and neighbourhood. It is just a short walk to the metros stations, the nearest being Notre-Dame de Lorette (around 5 min down hill walk). The others are Saint-George and Pigalle stations. It is also a walking distance to the Gallerie Lafayette. The room and toilet are clean and Wifi signal in the room is strong. Our room comes with a balcony facing the main road. The lift is small (only 1 person + 1 bag). We did not try the breakfast there so could not rate it. The receiptionists are helpful and are able to speak in English.

The Clauzel is a typical Parisian hotel, which is what we were looking for. Don't stay here if you are looking for luxury, that's for sure. The facilities are basic, but the hotel doesn't claim to be anything else. The lift that has been squeezed into the spiral staircase is an experience in itself. The staircase was being renovated during our stay which we were not aware of and it did make access difficult. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate, a selection of cereals and pastries, and most importantly, coffee. Would advise you to get down early for breakfast though, as they are not that quick at re-stocking. I would probably be a bit harsher with my comments if it were not for the fact I had a fantastic view of the Sacre Coeur from my room. Paris hotels are pricey to say the least, the Clauzel may be dated but the location completely makes up for that.

would Try Another Hotel Next Time
Hotel is on edge of dicey neighborhood. Local stores have bars over windows at night. You can hear breaking glass bottles and shouting at night. Hotel staff was fairly unhelpful. Good location for walk to the Louvre and bus lines. I'd try another hotel next time.

Small Hotel, Not Clean, Tiny Lift and Poor Service
It's not a proper hotel, just like small family business. The service isn’t good, whenever you ask for something, they will tell "ok, we'll do tomorrow" but they will never. The lift is the smallest lift I have ever seen in my life; it can barely fit two adults. The room isn’t clean, towels are ripped, toilet is freezing, and WiFi signal is weak. It's cheaper than other hotels and relatively close to main attraction. 15 minutes to Opera, 30 minutes to champ elysee and about 1h 30m to Eiffel Tower.
