"Without doubt this is a beautiful iconic hotel and we came back for a second time as stayed here in 2019 and enjoyed it so much. It’s still great but looking a bit tired in places but overall still great. We loved the pool and location of the hotel and the amazing views. Also a shame to see so much single use plastic here! (small toiletries) and water bottles- most hotels we have stayed in in Malaysia have water machines to minimise waste and refillable toiletries. "

The complimentary afternoon tea was a lovely touch.The location was great for access to restaurants, bars, shopping, public transport and banks.
