"really nice place, in the countryside but near to all attractions! with locally hired scooters can get around the whole island in a short time! the owners are wonderful people ready to help you for anything! very clean rooms (every day changed towels and sheets)! if you are looking for a quiet place to relax you've found it! "Mamak is a 3-minute walk across from Hotel Asia, super close to the jetty pier and Saturday night market. Water station to refill bottles is much appreciated."

"Comfy bed, friendly staff, hot shower. WiFi is horrible, you need to sit outside to have good signal. The building is staff house for staff of several resorts on the island. No holiday atmosphere. People really live there. Dirty towel of guest before me was in the closet. Staff is friendly but could explain all the buttons in the room (hot water/airco etv) and be a bit more hospitable."
