The only flaw was I arrived at 3 for check in and the staff were behind me on the stairs to clean my room. Was able to drop my bags and take myself for a walk so i really didn’t mind. Room was large and had all the amenities you need. Pub across the street was convenient and you could walk into town very easily.

Convenient place, the owner responsive but not helpful at all. The place not thoroughly cleaned and some odor (not strong but you feel it when you from a walk outside). Cleaning is horrible and arrangements weren't communicated to me earlier, so not recommended for long stays. Cups had stains, the microwave had load of stains, and the shower rode was very dirty. Can't be a repeat customer.

I arrived at the place, not realuzingvthat I needed a code to get access to my room. My phone had run out of power, and I had to recharge it before I could find the e-mail with the code within minutes of gaining access to my room on the top floor, the room below mine was occupied by a group of noisy men, singing, playing music and shouting at each other until 02.00. I had to get up at 06.00 again, so was tired and exhausted all day. There were no instructions on how to operate the electric panel radiator and the shower tray along the edge was filthy. Had it not been raining and dark outside, I would have left and booked into different accommodation.

Very cozy. Lot of steps if you’re on the top level. Close to high street. Would stay again. Very private.

Unreachable staff
When we checked in and opened "our" room, there was somebody else's luggage in the room, dishes everywhere and it was a mess. There's nobody on site and absolutely no lobby or anything. We stood outside at 6:40 at night to look for last minute accommodations to replace this one. Unbelievable.

This is a nice little room very close to Oxford perfect for a night or two (10 minute walk into town). A couple of things that could have been better are; breakfast isn’t included as shown in the pictures and it could have been cleaner.

Convenient location about 10-15 minutes walk to the centre. However I had to park 15 mins away for free parking Room good but needs a carpet clean and table

The property was nicely decorated and spacious. However the room overlooked a busy road and there was a lot of traffic noise. The communication about access to the property was poor - I only received the relevant details the day before my visit after numerous phone calls and a couple of e-mails to the owners.

Very good, but could do better.
Very comfortable, lovely decor (newly refurbished I think). Had some difficulty in communicating with the owners, and given that this property is run remotely, with no staff on site (except the cleaner), this is important. Could not get live stations on the TV.

The room smelt strongly of drains on arrival. And the toilet seat was coming off. I contacted the hotel by email and had no response even a week later. A shame because it could have been very pleasant, with immaculate decor and a very comfortable bed.

Wonderful!
This was a great find! There are two rooms plus a bathroom. It was stocked with snacks and breakfast items when we arrived. There was a fan in the bedroom, which we appreciated. Three was free WiFi. It was a convenient walk to center of Oxford. We were given access instructions prior to arrival by contacting them from instructions on confirmation email. We stayed two nights and our room was serviced between them, which was nice. If you need a front desk, this wouldn't be for you. But I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

I didn’t realize the check in process until I reread my documents. Tried contacting the agency by email from their website and that link did not work. Had to call and then I received the instructions and all was well. The milk left in the fridge was spoiled.

Good for overnight stay
A very nice hotel for overnight stay. Very clean, close to the centre, and looks brand new. The breakfast is very elementary and is left in the room at check in for the guest to "prepare" in the morning.

Great stay for a self-sufficient traveller
I booked last minute and immediately called the owner for instructions (as advised by hotels.com), but if booking with more notice, you can expect instructions without calling I believe. The instructions came through by text within 5 minutes. A self-sufficient room with codes to enter the main door and the room. Spacious room (301), which was very well put together. Great en-suite. The shower was acceptable, but would prefer more pressure. The bed was very comfortable and the room also had the nice of a couple of small bottles of orange juice, milk and some cereals for breakfast. I'd definitely recommend if you're happy without a reception, welcome from staff etc.

Practical code check in. Nice with a small kitchen available Carpet needs replacing, it was not clean upon arrival. Could have cleaned better in the bathroom too. Someone downstairs was smoking, which filled the entire stairwell, had to went our room as well. Good location for tourists, as it lies in walking distance of Christ Church.
