The property is charming, the size of the room is a great value and everything is clean and orderly. The location is superior, close to Nishiki Market, high end shopping and only about a 10 minute walk to public transportation. Many good food choices close by from small authentic restaurants to the many food stalls in Nishiki Market Taxis as very reasonable in Kyoto, so feel free to use...

"Good location & nice environment. Would be great if coin laundry is available & room clean-up be more thoughtful, like not repeatedly giving us more & more toiletries that we did not use. Having said, overall speaking it’s still very good. "

"Beautiful room with plenty of space, comfortable beds, and kind staff. We paid for breakfast and were given lunch as well. Plus, there is a nice club room with sofas, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks as a free service of the hotel. The Onsen is lovely after a long day. Easy access to train stations and it’s easy to get around to all of the temples and shops. A nice Pilates and yoga facility is down the street. It was a posit e experience all anroind, and I would do it all over again. "
