The Cyprus deep bathtub was wonderful after a long day of walking. The rooms are high end, clean and beautifully designedl. The Japanese breakfasts were amazing. The staff was incredible and we would love to stay there again. "

"Room wasn’t fully clean when I arrived. You should note there are no windows in the hotel so natural light and seeing what the weather is like isn’t an option. Nice arrival touch with matcha and free coffee but it’s a very basic hotel. The room itself wasn’t at all clean. Stains by the toilet which meant I needed to pop a mat down as it felt unhygienic using it. A very wobbly tap sink. Stains on the furniture and walking out of your room you were treated with dirty laundry and horrible smells....

"Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel. It’s also easy to bring your luggage from sanjo station. The room space is spacious and i really wanted to extend my stay for one day but i have other plans."
