"I absolutely loved this place! Southern charm personified. Clean, super comfy. Remodeled restaurant and bar are awesome. It’s a classy place but definitely not stuffy. Very pleasant and helpful staff. If I lived within an hour of Berea I’d stay here 2-3 weekends a year. Completely recommended, real value."

"Aesthetically, it had a wonderful old world feel. You can tell they are still working on getting the hotel to where they want it but the details in place already are great. I loved the ipads coupled with the rotary phone in the room. The steakhouse downstairs while closed the 2 days we were there was closed really made me want to eats there. (Silk’s) The attention to detail is really strong draw for this hotel. I would definitely book here again. Comfortable bed, clean, nice bathroom linens...

"Stay was okay. Building was clean and everything worked well. Location was much further from red river gorge than expected, about 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes one way to a trail. Bed was very hard. Hot tub was nice. Overall, decent if you dont mind the sleeping conditions and the drive but for us it wasnt worth the cost "
