"The property was old and run down. Have stayed here twice before (more than ten years ago) and had been so impressed. But nothing has been updated or changed. The beds were small but comfortable. Our room had an external door to the pool area. The handle had been removed and the gaps Gaffa taped up. It was literally a hole in the door where the lock and hs doe once were. "Though we landed at the international airport at 7pm we took the Super Shuttle to stay overnight at the Mantra Hotel by the domestic airport as we had an early morning domestic flight the next day. The super shuttle cost $12 per adult and was charged to our Mantra bill. From this hotel you can take the shuttle again to the domestic airport (still $12) - terminal 2 or 3 - or walk which will take about 15 minutes. "Great view of Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House from the Horizon Club Lounge on the 30th floor Staff very attentive and helpful (thank you, great service) Surprised about the security deposit (150 Australian dollars per night) which had to be paid upfront (don't recall this was mentioned at time of booking).
