"I always stay at Echo Lodge when I am in town. It is a clean and peaceful place to reset and still be close enough to downtown and other activities. The staff (I believe they are a family) are so accommodating and you can tell they have a great pride in ownership by the way they keep up on everything. I highly recommend Echo Lodge if you want a little slice of calm during your stay in the Sac area."

"The property and rooms are extremely barbecues. I guess you get what you pay for, and I did choose this one for the cheap price so I can't complain too much, but it's pretty sketchy. Not a great location, there were lots of people hanging around the parking lot at all hours and someone set off TONS of fireworks one of the nights I was there, right outside my room in the parking lot.
