"Pleasant hosts who are helpful. Clean, spacious cottage with a well-supplied kitchen and comfortable king size bed. Private parking next to the cottage is convenient. We had some difficulty with the heat because it is on timers. We find that inconvenient. Our only other problem was a slight but persistent sewer odor in the bathroom. "

"Fab place, no cars and feels really special with gorgeous grounds and lots of space. The pod was clean, bed and bedsheets clean and crisp. Enough pots, plates, cutlery etc to manage and spacious. "Bay Retreat villas was the perfect base for exploring Padstow and the seven bays, it’s ideally located for getting to all the local amenities. "First time we stayed in a Shepard hut . Went to Cornwall for some surfing at various beaches . The hut is very close to wadebridge shops and pubs and there’s local supermarkets close as well . It’s very very quiet and private as well , and there’s a log burning hot tub , at the property as well and a couple of sun loungers .there is some cooking equipment if you are prepared to make a meal using 2 hob stove . As I can cook almost anywhere given a pot and a heat source I found it ok to cook meals...

"We had a lovely stay here, the lock wasn’t working from the outside but was fixed within half an hour, brilliant! Beds are comfortable and the sofa. A good size cottage the bathroom was abit tight but there are public showers on site aswell would definitely come back here. There’s a park on site aswell, laundry room a bar and reception are very helpful. "Great location. 5-10 min walk to train station and beach. A few bars by the carbis bay beach (fancy resort area). So many beautiful beaches in St Ives too. Train to St Ives, 3 minutes, £1...or a beautiful 45 min walk. Accommodation was just perfect for me, so clean, easy to get to, parking right outside, everything supplied (cloths, towels, washing up liquid, tea towels, bin liners). Bring washing liquid to use washing machine. Full sized freezer too. I took my own coffee machine. I cooked...
