"Great camping option just outside MT Cook national park. We stayed in cabin with three bunk beds. Communal kitchen was fun to meet other campers especially students and families. Shower house was big and plenty of hot water. Much more affordable the hotels in the park. "

Enjoyed a walk partway around the lake. There is a grocery store and many restaurants in town. Look for the woodfired pizza truck (sign on main sidewalk)- it was delicious!

Would have given 5stars if the weather was clear... star gazing tour from Mount John we booked was cancelled... (but indoor star lecture was a great alternative )

This is a place you never want to leave. The church is my favorite place with the dog statue. Gods creation for sure.
