Everything was so clean and the staff was super nice. My boyfriend and I had the private room and bathroom for 5 nights in early January. I was afraid it would be too cold or hot but there was a thermostat we could adjust ourselves. The subway stations are very close and even in the evening I felt safe walking back to the hotel. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in NYC.

Room was okay. Very basic. Bathroom is tiny. Loud Street noice including continuous train movement. Reception staff was good. Kitchen and public hangout area around the kitchen did not very inviting.

The best and cheapest option in New York to stay.Super clean and Super great staff. It is in brooklyn but very near to Manhattan, just a bridge away.

Its exactly what you pay for in Long Island City. Super loud due to train - yep I knew this when booking, ummm people come in and out all time of the night - knew this too....but cold shower, and small lockers should be fixed. The reviews are fair...but the train is really loud. It's warm and safe....so if you can deal with the rest its good.

I was limited on my options seeing as most of the city was soldout or just overpriced. This was a great option that saved me a ton of money. It's also in a great area too. Staff was great and I enjoyed the stay!

Right price and good location

Stayed here because the price was right and near where I needed to be. I can be loud in the room with noise from outside the building, but with ear plugs I slept well. I was able to step out the door and walk into the city to in 40 minutes, or take the subway and be there faster.

Good location, good stay

The hostel is located conveniently close to a subway station that easily connects you to Manhattan or other part of the city. The area around is really nice, there's a 24h grocery where you can eat if you need. The 2 bunk-beds room was comfortable enough, also with an ensuite bathroom. No much to say. It did the job. It was a good stay. I wish it was cheaper, but NYC is expensive.

Super clean, friendly staffs 24/7, very close to public transport and safe to walk even late night around 1-2pm. Only thing is, room had sweaty smell a bit suffocating. But given the other factors, i'll happily stay again
