"Beautiful property. Very central location. Lovely, romantic courtyard. We did not have a top sheet on our bed during our stay, thought I asked for one, only a duvet. But it was too warm to use a blanket or sheet anyway! Hospitable staff."

"Loved this hotel! Such an iconic place to stay in New Orleans especially with all the history it has. Room service was impeccable and they replaced the toiletries and cleaned the carpet every day. Staff was also incredibly kind and the location is unbeatable. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star rating is because the hotel room was outdated but I supposed someone else could see it as charming!"

"We will return to Nola and plan to stay at Grenoble House again. The staff is amazing. The property is beautiful. The location is perfect. If you’re considering staying here, just be aware there’s no parking associated with the property, but lots of options in the area."

"Fabulous property with a unique history. For travelers who like something a little different than a standard hotel chain. Exceptionally well maintained with a top tier staff. I would stay again in a heart beat!"

"Never saw the pool, the bathroom was so small you could bearly open the door. The bathtub needed to be recaulked. Had mold around the tub. The rooms were very old and looked different than the pictures online. The bar wasn’t open when we needed a drink before 3pm. Just wasn’t impressed at all for the price."

"The location of Melrose Mansion is amazing! The staff was kind and helpful. I especially liked my room with large living room and kitchen. Street noise was minimal."

"The pool and hot tub were across the street in the main property, so we didn’t use them. The courtyard where we stayed was nice."

"The haunted hotel was great its walking distance to everything. The lore behind the place is fascinating and we had some paranormal but the ghost seem friendly. The staff are super friendly makes thst worth the stay just on that alone."

"Older hotel but so beautiful, and the staff were amazing! Loved that it was literally close to everything you want to see in New Orleans! We had a porch balcony were we could sit outside and have coffee in the morning look at all the beautiful buildings. We really enjoyed our stay there!"

The hotels location also made it easy to get around to all the points of interest. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and will stay again in the future."

"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "
