"Love the location. It is situated in the heart of the French Quarter, walking distance to everything! The bed I slept in was too firm and I wished there were end tables (even if tiny) or a little shelf to hold one’s phone or a glass of water on each side of the bed. "

"Staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel was not far from a lot of attractions. Some were in walking distance, others a short Uber drive which took only about 5 minutes or less. All in all a great experience. "

"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"Such a great stay! Some of the staff were excellent to work with and have conversations with. The room was large and quaint. The pool was secluded and fairly quiet. Convenient location for walking to eat and explore. The only issue we had was the shower only out out hot water and we couldn’t take a shower because it was too hot. They told us the plumber could not come on the weekend. We had the option to switch to a queen room or keep or king room. Apart from that issue this was a great place...

"We loved our stay here! We stayed in the La Sirena suite which is at the very top of the building. Below I list some 'cons' but they weren't really cons - more of considerations for those who might be sensitive to certain factors. Pros: - Excellent location - relatively chill block but close to so much. - R Bar on the ground floor is a great no frills neighborhood bar with mix of locals and tourists. Lively but not overly crowded, superb staff, and old school movies playing on the big screen....
