"I stayed 3 nights. I did notice the smell mentioned in the reviews before I booked. Only one person mentioned it. I Booked it anyhow. I figured when I got there that it’s probably the vent (I stayed on the 7th floor) cause it only smelled when the vent in the bathroom was on. I did report it to front desk at checkout and I was assured it will be looked into. Otherwise, Friendly and helpful staff. Facility is nice. The breakfast/branch was great. Felt very safe. "My wife and I decided on the last minute to include Cebu in our Asian Travel visiting from Canada. A fried of mine who is base out if Cebu City and works as Medical Director offered his corporate contact at another 5 star resort. The discounted price was actually lower than The Reef. However, getting answers from our inquiries went by unanswered or very delayed. In spite of the attractive pricing, we decided to look for another property.

I loved that the beach area was quiet and the gym was empty. The room was standard layout and functional. For families this is a great hotel, lots to do!
There are lots of events going on which can get quite noisy but they all finished at a decent time.

An amazing breakfast.. not like your typical American breakfast at a hotel I’m talking like a full buffet with local foods. Everything you could ever want is within walking distance. Outlet malls grocery stores 711 tons of street food."
