"I stayed only a few nights and had wonderful experience. Place is relatively easy to find - this relaxing walk through the green park was a big joyful bonus. Very clean room, comfy bed, good shower. Attention to detail in any aspect. So, it was a real pleasure to return to my room after spending a day in a busy town. Thank you Fiona and Ricardo for making my stay so special. I won't hesitate to rebook again."

"Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Room clean, quiet and bed so comfortable, slept very well. All the staff were extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious, served freshly cooked on piping hot plates. Good parking, perfect location. "Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

"Good location 15 mins walk to centre along the river. Clean rooms and adaquite kitchen. Free morning pastries was a basket full of plain croissants not alot of choise there. Coffee machine was broke but hot water and coffee available in its place. We just made one in our room. Lovely veiw over the river."

"The breakfasts were terrific with a special each morning or a very good buffet selection. The rooms are pleasantly furnished, each unique in a way that feels both elegant and comfortable. The parking turned out to be an excellent boon in a city not designed for cars. The hosts helped us figure out what to see and where to go. Altogether, a very good stay, so good that we extended for a day"

"The room we stayed in wasn’t nice at all. The bathroom smelt like drains, the shower kept going cold, the sealant was missing and mouldy, there was a big rumbling noise every time you turned a tap on or flushed the toilet. The rest of the room was a mess the carpet had big brown stains everywhere like something had been spilt and just left to dry. Coffee and tea stains all over the counter and you have to really slam the door to close it. All in all it was just GRIM! "
