"We really enjoyed our stay at the Novotel Queenstown Lakeside overall. The room was cared for daily with clean towels(if needed) and bed made. The hotel itself is situated at the edge of the lake by a wonderful botanical garden. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We didn't need to interact with desk help much after check-in. definitely a great recommendation for staying in Queenstown."

"Rooms were outdated. Asked 3 times over the stay to clean the exhaust vents in the bathroom which were a bacterial experiment. It needs investment. If you dont have young kids avoid school holidays as it can get noisy early morning and evening. It’s expensive for what it is."

"The property is quite close to Queenstown CBD about 10 minutes. Had a nice view. The room we selected was smaller than we thought and shower did not provide any soap or body wash. Didn’t use the restaurant or bar services since there are many other and better options in town."

"Solo traveler: Ideal location - you're a 3 minute walk from everything downtown. The room is clean and everything on the property is well maintained and new. Would 100% stay here again. The walls aren't the thickest so you can hear noise in the hallway. I was lucky enough to be on an end so it was minimal but I could see that being an issue if you're by the drink machine but even this is a mild inconvenience."
