As the hotel is a block away from a taxi stand, the staff can get you in a cab in 5 mins. "The staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests with professional diligence. We also had a wonderful dinner at Mirabelle on property. Conveniently located within reasonable walking distance from the Colosseum, the Vatican, and Spanish Steps. Hotel Splendide was not just a place to stay, but a wonderful experience."
"Beautiful hotel, however construction nearby going on and it’s dark walking to restaurants nearby felt a little unsafe. Also there is a nightclub nearby they kept me up until 1am every night make sure you don’t get a room facing street. Very expensive too but we couldn’t find much with a one bedroom so our adult daughter and us could have some privacy. "
