"This is a nice hotel with great views (ocean view side). I took off 1 star due mainly to the breakfast being a little disappointing. The pastries were small and seemed like the plastic wrapped kind you might get at a convenience store, and overall the options were pretty limited."

"Property is really clean and sophisticated. There is wine/ cocktail hour from 5-6pm which was so lovely. Check in was quick and easy and the rooms were spacious and elegant. They offered pet supplies if we needed. :) My only complaint was our bathroom faucet didn’t have any running hot water at all. The Gym was well equipped and the staff was so friendly. Will definitely stay there if I’m ever in Monterey again."

"The 2-room cottage was perfect for traveling with teenagers - everyone had their own space! Bathrooms have barn doors, so you need to be comfortable with being able to hear everything. We loved this location and the small hotel vibe! Teens loved the hot tub area!"

"I stay here every time I visit (2-4 times a year). I travel with my dogs. I like the cottage option but the rooms are just as nice. Each time I visit there is some kind of property improvement going on. Does not disturb the visit but proves pride in ownership to reinvest into the property. I LOVE the floor NOT being carpet! Instead there is beautiful flooring which is cleaner than carpet! Clean and quiet. Short pleasant walk to the beach, golf and down town. Staff is friendly and accommodating....

"Nice private room for the price! Parking spots are really tight but there’s a good bit of parking on the street if you’re worried about fitting in compact spots. Plenty of restaurants and activities nearby in walking distance. Check-in is over the phone and you have to give credit card info for $100 deposit, but it’s pretty straightforward. Definitely not the most pristine room ever, but once again for our short stay and the price it was perfect. WiFi is spotty, but we spent most of our time out...
