"The Carmel Beach Hotel is the very nicely refurbished/updated Colonial Terrace Hotel. We have stayed in the old property and now the new one. "Lovely property. Superb hot tub. Excellent welcome from Elizabeth at reception. Amazing Barman at adjacent Brophys Tavern. Room very nice, but strangely lacking in places to hang anything. Nowhere to hang bathrobes or wet bathing suits. Towels are at opposite end of bathroom, meaning a slippery walk across wet tile to get a towel. No room around basin for toiletries. "

"Very good for the price! Nice clean room, comfortable bed, and good location near everything. Bathroom was clean, nice hot shower. Even has a pool and hot tub. Only complaint would maybe be the low flow toilet, but I personally don’t think it’s a big deal. I definitely would book another stay if I’m ever in the area again. "
