While the staff and receptionist at this hotel were exceptionally friendly and the room was clean, I cannot recommend it based on my experience.
The room itself was small and had a heavy perfume scent that made it feel like a cheap motel. When we tried to open the window for fresh air, numerous mosquitoes flew in as there was no screen. Our first-floor room, located just down the hall from reception, had heavy bars on the windows, which gave it a menacing and unwelcoming feel.
The hotel's location is also a significant drawback. The surrounding area feels like a ghetto with nothing to see or do. While it is conveniently close to the tram and metro, we were frequently disturbed by a loud rattling or humming sound that occurred every 14 minutes, likely from a passing train. With 2 white noise sounds and ear plugs, it was still difficult to sleep.
Parking was also a major challenge. Street parking is hard to find, which was very difficult for a visitor.
We chose this hotel for an overnight stay before an early flight, based on proximity to Linate airport and other reviews, but we would not recommend it to anyone.
