"The hotel is located within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Located on the Esplanade we could walk on the ocean front boardwalk for miles. Our view of the ocean from the room and balcony was spectacular."

"The staff at Oaks Cairns were absolutely lovely, very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful room and great central location, walking distance to most activity meetups, great restaurants and shopping. I had an unfortunate experience at the Double Tree by Hilton and ended up needing a room last minute, even though Oaks Hotel Cairns had nothing to do with the poor experience at Double Tree Hilton, they gave me a free drink voucher to help improve my night. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend! Thank you for a wonderful stay! "
