"The were two curtain tracks in the first room we stayed at, but only one fabric curtain. This was not a problem on the first night (although it is nice when curtain tracks overlap so there is not a gap where the curtains meet). On the second night, it was a problem as several very bright bursts of light came through the curtains throughout the night - bright enough to wake me up when I had dozed off. In our second room, there were two curtains - one made of blockout fabric and one sheer. A much better arrangement."

"The location is great being in downtown Cairns so within easy walking distance to attractions. Late check in no issues with good communication. Room size and quality good. The only negative is that just outside the room was a courtyard area with a stormwater drain that was very noisy when raining and made sleep difficult. This could be resolved with better room insulation,"
