"Good value motel. Hot tub, pool and sauna were nice addition. Room walls a bit thin but nothing out of the ordinary for a first floor room. Bed was comfy and water pressure was great and hot!"

"Our room was large, very clean and had a coffee pot & coffee, a small refrig and microwave. We enjoyed the deck (second floor) facing the river. The first morning breakfast food was scarce. The second morning there was lots of food and numerous choices, much better. The resort is located close to town and by the walking path. We would stay there again."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Virginian Resort. The cabins are quaint, comfortable, and conveniently located close to town, grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations. While the cabins do show their age with older carpeting, bathroom fixtures, and tubs, they were clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. "The inside was nice. The exterior looks run down. The shower head was too short for my friend who is 5'8. The beds were comfortable and we were so grateful for the AC. Thanks for having us!"

"Breakfast was not as nice as during other stays. Frittatas were good though. Issues with our door lock but staff were super helpful. Cabin window and outdoor furniture slightly broken. None were deal breakers, just not as nice as the last time I stayed here. Room was clean and we had what we needed."

"We rented a one bedroom cabin. The cabins are clean,simple and next to the river. We brought our dog and the property is very dog friendly. The walk to the little downtown of Winthrop took 10 minutes. We will stay again!"

"It is a cute place, be ready for a more rustic experience as far as bathrooms and washrooms go. The only thing I didn’t like is that it was a very flimsy lock, and we were the only ones on property for most the stay with spotty cell phone service. That part didn’t feel safe. If there were on site help or other campers around I think I would have felt more safe."

"The check in was smooth and our room was beautiful and spacious. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were too heavy for me and not fluffy. Wish the body wash was one per person as 1 tube was enough for only myself and we requested additional tubes. Otherwise, the casino is clean, gaming was fun and it wasn’t as smoke filled as we were exoecting it to be, Staff are very attentive and helpful too! A plus stay for us!!"

"Housekeeping cleaned room daily. The pool looked inviting, but I did not use. The ice machine never swemd to run out. The front staff was helpful and friendly."

"Beautiful park across the street, in a good walkable location. Room was spacious and had blackout blinds which were nice, gets light really early there. Gnats are a problem in the outside area but there were none inside."
