"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby looked warm and cozy. The room needed updating but it was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We had a nice harbor view. I would have loved to drink my coffee on the balcony but the coffee tasted funky. "EDI had everything we wanted and needed for a most comfortable and pleasant stay. The place was clean and convenient. The staff was helpful. We liked being able to park in front of our room and carry luggage right in. There was a game room and we played mini golf! Only complaint was the extra charge to play mini golf because I reserved through YOU!"

I would have gave 5 stars all around, the dusty cobwebs on the dinning room chandeliers gave a vibe that didn't quite work with the price point of dinner. I was excited to use the floor warmer, however mine did not turn on. So that is why 4 stars on working amenities. The overall experience was great. Upon check out they went above and beyond to make something right. I experienced my first solo trip, and am thinking of making it once a year...

"I loved that I was able to see the ocean from my room. The indoor pool is so clean and perfect for kids. The pool was temperature controlled. Breakfast was really good. Room service was okay but overall it was great stay. "

"Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat."
