"Far too hot to sleep in, handheld fans will not blow hot air around a room so really uncomfortable Shower water pressure was awful. You’d get a better shower in fine rain."

It was very dog friendly but it would have been nice to have had something available in the room for my dog such as a water bowl etc but that is a minor point"

"The guys at reception were very accommodating, check in is at 15:00, which was late for us as we had to be at a wedding in a nearby venue by 16:00. I explained this to the guys at reception who managed to check if on by 13:00, which meant we were able to get ready leisurely, and have lunch before we left"

"We stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham Maidstone from 25–27 June 2026 and had a very upsetting experience. We were abruptly woken at 2:30am by a fire alarm and given inconsistent explanations (first an insect, later smoking). The lack of clear communication and reassurance left us feeling very unsettled, and we were unable to sleep for the rest of the night. Throughout our stay, service was poor and disorganised. We had issues with a broken hairdryer, delays in getting it replaced, and repeated...

"No aircon and window locks make the windows v difficult to get any air in the room. My son’s toilet didn’t work And was already ‘full’ when they arrived and as the hotel was full, they couldn’t change rooms! The breakfast buffet did not look v fresh but the pastries were good . "We stayed at Salomons Estate as a group of 12 people. The grounds are lovely, and the facilities are well looked after considering the age and character of the property. The staff were really helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean, and both the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size. Although the rooms are a little outdated, the bedding was very comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay overall."
