We had a wonderful experience at Montage Healdsburg! The staff were all friendly and helpful, everyone was so nice and accommodating. our room was lovely with a beautiful view. There was a lovely vibe, all the buildings were designed to fit in with terrain and landscaping, so they didn't detract from the beautiful views of the vineyards and rolling hills, and the live oak trees. The spa was lovely - attentive staff, amazing massage! It was great to have the restaurant, Hazel Hill, as well as the bar/lounge, and "general store" coffee shop. Very convenient and delicious food. Super slow service but immaculate grounds. It’s dog and child friendly, which is such a relief, but we struggled to find a trash can anywhere on the property except for at the lobby. Would stay here again with the expectation that things will take much longer to get to you. Also surprised they only offer valet parking (didn’t see self parking anywhere) but it comes at a surcharge. They don’t tell you this but add $42 per day to your bill at checkout.
