"Nice large room, TERRIBLE LIGHTING!! It was either too bright or way to dim. Good luck putting make up in the bathroom!! Construction was going on directly across the street from my room- Started EARLY! For the price I paid I would have expected to at least be informed that it was happening. That said, the staff were all very nice and helpful. The fact that you can hear the Jazz music in virtually every room wasn't as loud as I thought and it ended around 11. But the screamers outside the bar...

EVERY staff member I encountered on this trip - and the dozens of stays before - are kind, helpful, considerate, and incredibly professional. The options in the cafe are reliably excellent, and the rooms are very comfortable. "

"Location was great. Layout was a little different with lobby on second floor. Doorman were great, when they wanted to be. They picked and chose who to greet and open doors for and when. I also didn’t find there were very many amenities in the building if any that we were made aware of. Definitely don’t think this hotel is family friendly if that’s what you’re looking for. Nights tend to be more catered to the bar / restaurant / nightlife scene. Overall it was good for what we wanted out of our...

"This property worked well for us in convenience of location. Our room was fine for us too. Just be aware that there is a club at the top of this hotel so it can be very loud. They are apparently working on soundproofing and the noise doesn’t carry down too many floors. But if you aren’t here to party, ask to be below floor 10 at least. "
