"Only stayed one night but staff were excellent, places to eat, room nice size and clean. Very comfortable stay before next flight"

"During this stay, my daughter and I checked in at about 8:45 p.m., went up to our room and discovered that our room smelled like smoke. It was as if someone had been smoking in the room and covered it with aerosol. I called the front desk, but nobody picked up. So I walked down to the front desk to let them know, but I had to bring all my bags back down with the keys, carrying my toddler, then be given new keys and assigned a new room. Once we were in our new room, there were several guests...

"I never even checked in (missed my flight because the dominican airport has subpar internet speeds. I couldn't reach a human to resolve my flight issue. I can't control airports, their staff, or the timeliness of these pilots/air crew. All these things can fall through but I'm on the hook bc greedy people need upfront pay knowing that things happen that's outside of the traveler's scope of control."
