"Room was clean and tidy, heated to a pleasant temperature The staff were impeccable as in friendly and helpful even to the point of feeling familiar We can't fault anything. We will be back. However I did notice a few problems around the pool causes by moisture however I would never let that spoil my up most opinion of a great hotel but I know some folks will. "Wateredge Inn, Ambleside We stayed at the Wateredge Inn in October for one night and really liked it. The location is perfect, right by the water, and the room was lovely with an incredibly comfortable bed. Everything felt nicely done and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good too. We’d happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to others."
