"We have been to the Lakes Hotel & Spa a few times & we always have an amazing stay. The staff are always polite & welcoming, a special thank you to Mark (concierge) he was very helpful! Our room was spotless & had a beautiful view over the lake. The spa was very nice as always, but it was slightly cold on the first day of our visit, the spa had been closed throughout the day for maintenance so possibly couldn’t be helped. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Our stay at Elton’s Escape was lovely. The caravan is nicely decorated with a cosy, welcoming vibe, and its location made it perfect for visiting Ambleside and Windermere. The living/dining area was fresh and welcoming, unlike many dog-friendly caravans which often carry an odour. Wi-Fi was excellent too. When we arrived, the caravan hadn’t yet been cleaned after the previous guests, but once we called the helpline, the on-call cleaning team responded promptly and resolved the issue. One thing that would be a helpful addition to amenities would be a hairdryer. Overall, a lovely place to stay, and would come back again."
