What a charming property. An old inn so it should be expected it is not modern but has been sensitively maintained. Staff were helpful and the manager was very hospitable. Food was exceptional. If you want a more traditional stay in a lovely location within the Lakes I would recommend

Perfect stay

A nice bijou room tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was very good too. We had an evening meal at night and would highly recommend booking ahead too.

Fantastic stay, food was excellent, rooms cosy and very clean. Staff were wonderful and very friendly they even dried our swimming kit in the boiler room over night 😃. Great value for money and we will definitely return.
